This year the Rochester Institute of Technology offered a month-long Instagram based photography contest. All the students had to do was hashtag their images in order to be entered, and so I encouraged all of my students to enter their photos into the contest. I am proud to announce that Mia Celik, one of my sophomore Photography I students, was one of the 5 finalists out of more than 2,400 entries. Congratulations Mia!
